I give DaVinci Resolve 1 out of 10. Why, Found playback jerky and uneven. Found no facility to count forward or backward frame-by-frame for splitting points. That is an extremely important feature for me. Having to move the scrubber to the point where a split is to be made is cumbersome at best. DaVinci Resolve is overly complex and would be a daunting prospect for a beginner to learn. Though it's NOT free software, the BEST NLE video editing software is Cyberlink's Power Director, versions 9 through to 14 in deluxe, ultra or ultimate levels.

What are saying on Lightworks 12.6? It is free and for all three main platforms? But a bit hard to master it.

After last Windows 10 update, my Windows Live Movie Maker stopped working. It do not work with editing videos right now for me. On support is that they stopped supporting it 10th of January 2017. Six days after your video 🙁

For some reason vsdc and hitfilm movies crash everytime i try to edit or move forward into my edit to edit a part could it be something wrong with my video file itself or the software?

  13. CourtestyOFtheMIND says:

BEWARE There are a few users posing as several different commenters. All promoting this crap software on any video that has a mention of *HITFILM*. This type of underhanded behavior totally turned me off to HitFilm. The software is unusable (at least on my 2 Alienware 15's ) and made my system unstable. Just do some research and you'll see the truth of it. (I don't blame this youtuber, He actually put forth some good alternatives.)

  14. Ayan Nath says:

what about Lightworks? It works on almost all platforms and it is well built
