How to fix OS X application can’t be verified | OS X El Capitan | macOS Sierra | Yosemite Corrupted or Damaged during Downloading in Easy Steps.
” This copy of the install OS X Yosemite (any OS X) application can’t be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading”
Try the same date for older version, as shown below and it will work. (once it’s installed then changed to current date)
For El Capitan and macOS Sierra change it to current date.
Terminal command: (example)
Date 0328015315
(monthdatetimeyear) String of numbers = month 03, date 28, time 0153, and year 15, combined.
IF IT STILL FAIL, THEN TRY TO CHANGE THE DATE BACK TO “January 01 2016 or 0101(current time)(current year)”

    Thank you sir. I took my computer to the Apple Tech support and they said that the motherboard was dead and that was the problem. This was a much simpler and much cheaper fix.
