How to install Wine on Mac OS X the simple way. This was is a lot quicker, safer, it lets you open a .exe app by double clicking on it, and it is simpler.

@Nutz320 I aggree … @Nutz320 I aggree entirely, I really only needed wine to run small executables. Instead of restarting and selecting Windows 7 just to run a couple or small files, I can now just use Wine.
@Braannndonn I’m an … @Braannndonn I’m an Apple fanboy and even I can tell you, if you reckon Windows or Linux is better, why waste extra money on a Mac? Just get a PC. Although, I would reckon you were crazy if you believed Windows was better. I can know why people like Linux, they don’t believe OS X is a right UNIX platform. It is. Try it out, you won’t regret it. Has a right UNIX command line, UNIX tools, X11 to run UNIX apps. You can run a lot of the same CL apps and MacPorts hosts loads of ports too.

I know that putting Windows as a VM on VMWare or Parallels or VirtualBox, etc. or on Boot Camp as a normal installation leaves your Mac files vulnerable to windows viruses. You should be safe if you isolate the installation in virtual machine, but I don’t know about Boot Camp. The whole reason Macs are safe is because of OS X. Place Windows on your machine and what’s the point?
